From first call to SOLD

I'll look at your home in person and compare it with recent sales and current competition in your neighbourhood. Request your free evaluation.
Prepare to show well
Small things make a big difference: decluttering, fresh paint where it counts, and fixing the little items buyers' inspectors will flag anyway. For condos, I'll order the status certificate early so buyers have it upfront.
Price with a strategy
We'll decide whether to list at market value, set an offer date or take offers as they come, based on what's selling in your area right now.
Market it everywhere buyers look
Professional photography, the MLS® System, my listing site AskPeter.ca, social media and my network of local buyers and agents.
Negotiate and firm up
I'll walk you through every offer: price, deposit, conditions and closing date, and help you negotiate the best overall result, not just the highest number.
Close and move
Your lawyer handles the paperwork and pays out your mortgage. I'll stay in touch through closing to keep things on track.
Costs to plan for when selling
- Brokerage commission (always negotiable, and agreed in writing upfront)
- Legal fees for the sale
- Any mortgage discharge or prepayment penalty from your lender
- Condo status certificate, if applicable
- Moving and any pre-listing touch-ups
